Random thoughts on internet sensations

• I never really cared much for Justin Bieber, but I give him credit for maintaining a decent voice while going through puberty.  Next to Rebecca Black, he looks like a legitimate musician.
• Rebecca Black is pretty gutsy for asking Justin Bieber on national television to do a duet with her.  However, "I have Bieber Fever, Justin if you are watching this, will you do a duet with me? That would totally make my life"  is not something he should take seriously.  In fact, that makes her just like every other 13 year old girl out there.  Justin Bieber should file a restraining order against all girls ages 8-18.
• Rebecca Black needs to fire her songwriter, management team, and her singing instructor.  Think of her like a rough-cut diamond.  Or, lets go with something softer, like a piece of glass that is supposed to be a diamond-substitute.  Whoever conceived the music video scratched the glass all up with a diamond.  Then the singing instructor took a hammer to the whole thing and shattered it.  Then the songwriter took the entire mish-mosh and put it on Sesame Street.
• What is the deal with musicians these days who sing three verses and a chorus of a pop song, then have a rap artist come in and sing the bridge, then go back to the pop sound?
