Good immune systems

So I went to a seminar on using herbal extracts to keep your body healthy. I told Steve I wasn't going to blog about it, but I think everyone should know how to stay healthy, especially as winter is coming. So, here are a few pointers for staying healthy and avoiding media-hyped-but-still-present Swine Flu, as well as the far-more-dangerous Regular Flu.

Use a humidifier. Viruses live longer in dry air.

Use oregano instead of aspirin. Last year 16,000 people died from NSAID complications. Oregano has 37 known anti-inflammatory compounds and no one has died from oregano poisoning.

In India, mothers chop up ginger and let it soak in honey for an hour, before giving it to sick children to eat. They know what they are doing. Ginger has 32 immuno-supportive compounds, 21 anti-inflammatory compounds and 31 mental health compounds. In Japan, sushi is paired with ginger. Recent studies have shown ginger to be an anti-parasitic, specifically dangerous to the parasite found in bad sushi.

Elderberry significantly reduces the impact of influenza. It coats a viral cell before the virus can enter one of yours. (This doesn't kill it just makes it ineffective.)

If you work somewhere where a flu vaccine is mandatory, stay calm. Vaccines can be taxing to your body because of the chemicals and agents used to transport the virus to your system. To counteract those effects you can use dandelion, artichoke, and chlorella extracts to cleanse your system.
