1) I was thinking about the other day, writing about iced cappucinos. There's another drink that doesn't exist that gets under my skin.
Customer: I want a regular coffee.
Me: Ok, what size would you like?
Customer: Regular.
Me: Small, medium, or large?
Customer: Regular.
Arghh. There's no "regular" size on the menu above my head, nor have we done a study to see what size is most popular or determined what might be considered "regular". Regular means its not decaf, you still have to specify a size. I am about as indecisive as you are and if you make me pick a size for you my head will explode. You want the darn coffee, make a decision about it. I don't want coffee, therefore I should not be expected to make your decisions for you. I have no idea how many times this conversation has happened. Arghh.
2) In other news... I saw this at Target the other day. What will they think of next I wonder?
3) I think I have the Anissa syndrome. The one where someone indicates to you that something will happen and then when its ten minutes after that something should have happened you discover that they refuse to answer their phone to even give an excuse, and then you take it personally instead of realizing that some people are just oblivious to what their actions are doing. She's been in that situation before. Now I know what it feels like.
4) At first, you pulled me off balance with your verbal kazushi and it ended in a verbal hip throw. Later on it was a verbal grappling match and I learned a lot from the grappling practice, even though a lot of times I ended up getting choked out. But now you are beyond me, you are not using rank appropriate techniques, and I can't see what's coming next anymore. You are tossing me around like a rag doll and I'm getting as bruised as I do on the mat at jujitsu. The problem is, I love it, just like I love jujitsu. Ironic that I'd say that, considering the things I'm going through at jujitsu. Its true in more ways than one. You might be really smart in a lot of things, but you are a white belt when it comes to interacting with people.
