ten-dollar words...

I don't know if that's the correct colloquialism.

Anyway, I used the simple terms to describe the engineer-jujitsu theory. Here's what the engineer said, stolen from his blog:

"I also wanted to write about my thought about relating shockwaves and drift velocities with a kiai and if a kiai can physically knock the person off balance. In theory, if the kiai was strong enough to create a large enough drift velocity behind the shockwave, then as the shockwave passes you by, the wind will hit you at the drift velocity. so basically you will be hit by a gust of air traveling really fast because of some pressure difference created in a short amount of time."

Just so everyone knows I wasn't TRYING to misquote him hahaha.
