Esther was a woman who rose, against the odds, to become the Queen of her country. Then when a decree was made, she risked her life to go before the King and plead for the reversal of the decree to save the lives of her and her people.
It has been hypothesized that a modern-day Esther is beginning to emerge in our country. I am wondering if these people are speaking of a woman who will rise to power and work in the government to reverse a law, or if they are speaking of a woman who will rise to power in the government and stand before the King of Kings to plead for mercy for our corrupt country. In other words, are they speaking about a literal Esther, or a spiritual Esther?
