Re-publishing

Browsing through some old blog posts, I came across one about a wedding I went to. This paragraph made me laugh:

"Anyway, at the reception, by arranged seating, I sat with Kevin, Jordan, and Eric. Not that its a bad thing, but... you know... That's quite an arrangement. I learned that one of them (name withheld) wants all the men at his wedding to be equipped with a sword. Then the men on the groom's side have to battle the men on the bride's side for the groom's right to the bride. I reflected how lucky society is that woman plan weddings, not men."

Two of those three are either married or engaged now, so I am curious if there are or were any plans involving swords.
