There's an article about the 10 worst Valentine's Day gifts to give someone.
I disagree with the first one. Flowers totally depend on the person. Example, I'd be thrilled if my boyfriend gave me red roses. More thrilled if they were orange or yellow roses. But roses are good. Tulips are bad. So are daffodils. But other people might love tulips. So there's really no way of knowing if that is a bad gift.
And lol... this part made me laugh: "Do the math: Out of every box of 15 assorted chocolates, a woman will probably have three or so favorites. And there’s all that crazy, frou-frou wrapping as part of the picture—enough satin and ribbon to fashion a child’s princess-bride Halloween costume. So what would you rather get? Three chocolates you want and 21 you don't—along with a lot of excess red metallic cardboard? Or a small box of something you actually like?"
Anyway... my two cents. I'm not giving or receiving Valentine's gifts that day, but some of you are, so I thought I'd pass along that little nugget of wisdom. No chocolates. Chocolates bad. (Honestly, the author is a WOMAN, how can she possibly say not to give chocolate on Valentine's Day??)
Whatever.
